Scripture: Isaiah 52–53

The sermon presents Jesus as the servant-king whose coronation is enacted through suffering and the cross—fulfilling Isaiah’s portrait—calling leaders and followers to behold a king who willingly dies for our sins and is exalted by resurrection; congregants are invited into his royal family, urged to imitate his upside-down model of leadership by serving others, depending on the Holy Spirit for strength, and living counter-culturally because Jesus’ sacrifice and reign make surrender worth it.
