In the book of Isaiah, it is written that God’s people had become indifferent to Him, seeking fulfillment in idols but finding none. Though we are undeserving and often drawn to idols, God still offers to pour out His Spirit, making us whole again in His name. To receive Him, we must respond with reverence, fully grasping the significance of His salvation in our lives. To guard against indifference, we must continually refocus on God’s greatness, ensuring we do not slip back into spiritual emptiness.
