Scripture: Luke 23:32–43
Jesus died on the cross to take away our deepest sickness—sin—and rose three days later to prove the victory over death. He didn’t come down to prove himself with signs; his staying and rising accomplished something far bigger than temporary fixes. One criminal on the cross admitted his guilt, trusted Jesus, and was welcomed into paradise—showing that faith is admitting we’re sick, turning to Jesus, and trusting him. Because Jesus lived, died, and rose, our past can be forgiven, our future secured, and our present filled with peace and purpose.
