Part 8 – The Parable of the Talents
Scripture: Matthew 25:14-30
The parable of the bags of gold is about a master who gives his servants bags of gold before leaving for a time. When he returns, he rewards the servants that invested the money and gained more, but condemns the servant that hid the money and gained nothing. We have been given the gift of life (our time, money and resources). Just as the master rewarded those who worked to gain more, Jesus calls us to be stewards of this gift and use it for his Kingdom.
